Developer documentation
VendorVett is vendor due diligence for a small or mid-sized business. These pages describe the HTTP API an organization key can call, plus the integrations and the questionnaire drafter that ship in the product.
Scores are computed in the application from answers and evidence. The API returns those scores and the working behind them. It does not ask a model to invent a score.
Create an account
Open vendorvett.com/register and create the workspace. There is no separate developer signup. The same account is the one that owns vendors, assessments and API keys.
An owner then opens Settings → API. That page shows the organization id inside the MCP server URL (/api/orgs/<id>/mcp/). Every request below uses that id.

Prices come from the plan catalogue. Compare the full feature list on the pricing page.

Base URL
The API host is https://api.vendorvett.com. Paths end with a slash. A key is sent on every call:
curl -s "https://api.vendorvett.com/api/orgs/ORG/vendors/" \
-H "Authorization: Api-Key vvk_your_key"Replace ORG with the organization id and vvk_your_key with the token shown once when the key is created. How keys work is on Authentication. The paths themselves are on the endpoint reference.
What a key can call
A key reaches only /api/orgs/<its id>/. Another organization's id is refused. Session routes such as sign-in, the account-less vendor portal, and inbound billing notifications are not part of this API.
List responses use the shape { count, next, previous, results }. The default page is 25 rows. page and page_size select a page; page_size cannot exceed 100.
